On 8 September 2020, the Second "Air Silk Road" International Forum was held in National Conference Center in Beijing, China. This Forum was an important event for the 2020 China International Fair for Trade in services. It was jointly organized by China International Center for Economic and Technological Exchange of the Ministry of Commerce, International Cooperation and Service Center of Civil Aviation Administration of China, Beijing airport economic core zone Administration Committee and Air Silk Road International Cooperative Alliance. More than 500 guests from more than 300 institutions attended the forum, and a number of international cooperation projects were signed and released.
FCSSC co-sponsored the event. Mr. Cai Esheng, Chairman of FCSSC and Mr. Wu Zhong, DG of FCSSC, attended the opening ceremony of the Summit. Mr. Wu Zhong delivered a speech at the session of ‘Oopportunities and challenges in the construction of the Air Silk Road’. Mr. Wu Zhong introduced FCSSC’s efforts on the construction of the Air Silk Road, and suggested that FCSSC would like to promote cooperation with Henan Province through the Air Silk Road South-South Think Tank Alliance, established by FCSSC, Henan Provincial Government and the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation. In April 2019, the Alliance was included in the list of achievements of the Second Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit.
In addition, Mr. Wu Zhong was also interviewed by Henan Radio and TV Station on the topics of the development of the Air Silk Road and aviation logistics development in Henan Province.
